Christmas in January

img_6021Hi there! Yes its Christmas in January lol. As I was putting away my Christmas décor I realized that I didn’t get a chance to start or finish this tree project. With all of the stress that comes with the holidays I decided to finish the project now instead of just putting it away and hoping that I can get to it at the end of the year. Trust me it was so much less stressful to complete the project now instead of in November/December since I didn’t have an impending “deadline”.

I purchased the tree from AC Moore a few days before Christmas for an amazing price of $4.00. The wood is more like shims (rough/low quality) which made it very easy to paint and a little difficult to adhere the vinyl. I decided to go with a green ombre look since it fit the theme and item and my family is mostly boys sooo.. (insert boy mom face lol). I sealed the finished project with a clear acrylic gloss coating. Click on the link out my YouTube video to see how I completed this project Christmas Tree Video.

Talk to you soon XOXO
